The jersey of the team Seguros Vitalicio exposed is dedicated to the brothers Igor and Álvaro González de Galdeano, Alaveses who fought together in this squad at the end of the 90s. Igor, the youngest, excelled as head of ranks (2nd in the Vuelta 1999, with two stages and finished second in the general classification of the Vuelta) while Álvaro was a solid gregario and also champion of Spain CRI 1999. Both agreed on Vitalicio, contributing youth and Basque talent to the ambitious project of Javier Mínguez. The garment with their surnames symbolizes that fraternal symbiosis: two brothers leading and supporting each other in the same team.
