This eye-catching jersey belongs to the Gipuzkoa amateur champion, although it bears no specific name. Every year, the Gipuzkoa Cycling Federation awards this jersey to the winner of the provincial championship, a symbol of pride for the region’s cyclists. On display in the museum, the Gipuzkoako Txapelduna (Gipuzkoa champion) jersey celebrates the region’s rich cycling tradition, an inexhaustible source of talent. It represents all the anonymous winners who, wearing this jersey, etched their names into local history before moving on to greater challenges.
