The 1975 KAS jersey bearing Paco Galdós’ name commemorates the career of this climber from Álava at the peak of his career. Galdós, who finished third in the 1972 Giro, second in the 1975 Giro and second in the 1979 Vuelta, was a key member of the KAS team for over a decade, also achieving a notable 4th place in the 1977 Tour. The yellow jersey from that year commemorates his performance in the 1975 Giro, where he finished just 41 seconds behind the winner. Displayed with pride, it bears witness to Galdós’s brilliance as one of the great Spanish climbers of the 1970s and to the influence of KAS on his successes.
